When and Why?

We started GoAirplane.com a few years ago with the idea of cramming as much General Aviation things into it as possible. We have spent a lot of our time building dynamic database driven things (Classifieds, Maintenance Tracker, Scheduler, etc.). We will continue to add new items as we find them and customize them for our site. Register and stay tuned!

Your Cost?   Nothing.

You don't want to pay for using web sites on the internet do you? I don't. No user of GoAirplane.com is required to pay for anything. We hope to fund our efforts through advertising from vendors who want you to buy their products.

How and what?

This site is a mixture of proprietary code, commercially purchased components, and open source code. The system is based upon the LAMP model, Linux Apache MySQL PHP. This model was chosen due to the small footprint, speed, ease of management and the avialability of opensource products available. We have also purchased some commercial products to enhance the features of GoAirplane.com.

Who?

People who love to fly and have some unique computer skills.
